House shopping in Kodiak is a nightmare, so we spent the first two weeks in a hotel room. Surprisingly, it was actual kinda nice. Then we stayed in our new friend Anne's house. She was going to be out of town so we doggie/kitty sat. Kinley, the Chesapeake Bay retriever, and Abby learned to tolerate each other but never became friends, and Abby met her first cat. The cat, Scruffy, was okay but her toys were awesome.
