The sun behind the smoke of wildfire. We had a wildfire start on Memorial Day in McGrath. It is across the river from us. So we are not in danger- at least from this one. Wildfires are a big thing here(in Alaska). Dept of Natural Resources has a huge firefighting crew that stays here in the summer.

Kinda creepy. Smoky haze, smell and rains burnt spruce needles! It actually got dark last night.

Sorry I posted the pictures backwards, but keep looking. We got some pretty cool pics. I'm sure we will have more coming.
