Native Traditions Week at McGrath School.
This week the kids have been learning about dancing, music, beading, snaring, archery, cooking, ski jouring and other traditions. Friday night they performed a concert and we had a potluck including food they prepared (eskimo ice cream-which is made with white fish, crisco, sugar and berries!!!!, moose stew and fry bread)

10 mile snowmachine ride to cook hot dogs in the snow!! I bet there aren't many people who can say they did that on this Saturday afternoon!! We had a blast. Sunny and 26 degrees. Summer is just around the corner!
