On our way back, we stopped at the ice rink at the mouth of the Takotna River, just outside of McGrath. It was made by drilling a hole in the river and pumping water out so that it would freeze and make an ice skating/hockey rink for the kids.

Bo and Ken Richardson caught this Alaskan Gray Wolf on March 20, 2010. The Wolf was caught in an Alaskan #9 foothold trap set near a Moose kill.

Apparently, this is how you transport a critter when there is no room INSIDE the airplane!!!
