Getting ready to save on electricity. This is a step up from last year when we had coolers!
This is the reason we NEED snow-DUST. It is HORRIBLE!! 3 inches in the forecast for Monday night (NOV 9)
This is the Kuskokwim River in front of Bo's office. The ice has quit moving. Some people are actually starting to walk and take 4 wheelers across to log on the other side. About 8 inches deep.
This is Muskeg Creek, where Bo and Kevin have their traps set.
Another picture of the creek. This "WATER" is still running in below freezing temps! It was 10 above this day.
Bo with his marten. This is a very unusual color for a marten.(they are usually darker) This color is called canary. They are about 1 in 700! Caught it in a marten box that he built.
Kuskokwim Mountains Bo went to a meeting in a village called Shageluk. About an hour plane ride from McGrath.
